It was simple, clean, well, located, and a good value.
It was well worn.
The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept like babies. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. HD television and wifi are added bonuses. Very smooth stay. This is where we will stay whenever we go to Billings.
Not much really.
Heat didn't work, AC didn't work, no locks on windows, no fans. Smelled like insecticide. No bugs that I could find though.
I truly appreciated the great location so close to the airport after a long journey. Being a bit away from the busy downtown area was perfect for my stay. The nice quiet room made it easy to relax and rest. The breakfast was delicious. I am thankful for the wonderful family who own Western Inn Motel and graciously assisted with shuttle service to/from the airport and double checking that I had everything I needed in my room.
I only found two things that were less than perfect during my recent stay at Western Inn Motel: 1. Though the bathroom in my room was spotless and well supplied, the shower stall walls needed cleaning. 2. The room was lovely and inviting but a couple of outlet covers need to be re-secured to the wall.
Breakfast was to late for most. Also front desk had hours it was open, with a charge to the room if guests bothered.
the people there were terrific and my dog was allowed to stay so having so few dog friendly motels can be very frustrating
The price of the motel was a little high when all was said and done
friendly and helpful staff nice continental breakfast
--room was in disrepair: peeling wall paper, broken table, counter-facing coming loose from sink with some pieces completely gone --cleaning staff regularly forgot to restock soap, Kleenex, etc.; no vacuuming was done under furniture --shower was extremely unclean: heavy mold around inside of door frame --back of bathroom door was stained by dripping liquid; corner behind was very dirty --dirty blanket on bed
Flat screen tv and the lobby was nice
The second floor hallway was at least 90 degrees and the room was somehow even hotter. The room was super dusty, the chairs were dirty. The bathroom door had urin and boogers all over it. The shower had black mold. The bathroom counter was falling apart. The mini fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. We had to keep the window open because it was so ungodly hot and the street was really loud- there's a dumpster and it was garbage day and every noise made seemed to be intensified between the buildings. The sheets on the bed didn't smell clean and had hairs on them. We felt unsafe there overall.
This is a very nice motel, the staff is very friendly and the newly remodled rooms look great.I have stayed at this motel several times and it is my favortie place to stay nice and quiet and close to all the place I go for nice night out.
Great location 4 blocks away from the center of town. Lovely big room and clean and at a great price, the staff were great
Courtesy, freindliness and follow through on requested needs (taxi was waiting at the requested time). Went beyond service in most hotels in that breakfast was served to the room the night before becasue of the early rising/leave time.
Minor - shower door did not close properly. Would not affect my staying there again.
The price was the only thing we liked - only other positive comment would be it was clean
Location - difficult to get to but we knew that before booking not near many restaurants realize it's a security measure but outside lights are very bright, almost like trying to sleep during the day - light blocking curtains would be nice mattress and box spring are enclosed in plastic covers - realize this is a sanitary precaution but makes for a very uncomfortable bed - ridges and wrinkles impossible to smooth out. also noise with every move made and hold body heat. Horrible sleep! Breakfast very limited, mostly kid-type cereals. Only two tables seating total of 6 persons. Juice and milk kept in fridge with beverages for sale . milk supplied is UHT milk - and it does not taste like regular milk! Feeling was that breakfast was something they feel they have to do to compete - it doesn't have to be much, but there was no effort to make it appealing. all the above were the reason we cancelled our reservation for our return trip, but especially the bed situation. We'd rather pay more for a decent night sleep.
Smelled very bad, believe we saw bed bugs and did not return for the 2nd night.
the staff where very friendly and helpful, arranged for a taxi for us to get to the local mall after talking to them about where to go shopping, gave us lots of info about the local area.
Had a room Available
Carbs only for breakfast, no real food.
